Start
[edit]This is a start of a page dedicated to Yala National Park. I hope the it suvives this awful tragedy called tsunami.

Leopards
[edit]Not entirely sure that concentration of leopards statement is accurate. It is generally held that the best place to see leopards in Sri Lanka is Wilpattu National Park, more than Yala. However, I can't quote a source on that, so I'll leave the article as is unless I get some properly attributable information. Also, the Link to the National Parks in the ref is invalid. --Preveen (talk) 10:28, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Illustrations
[edit]Picture of the water buffalo is not accurate, you could see the ownership markings on its body! Take it out I’d say ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.80.32.8 (talk) 11:00, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Name
[edit]This is a good essay for YALA. But it is not known as RUHUNA.It is located in RUHUNA ""RUHUNA CALLED AS SOUTHERN SRILANKA AT PAST TIME"
THANUSHKA-SRILANKA
Incorrect, Zone is often called 'Ruhuna National Park'. See the link to NationaL Parks site that I added. Erikdr (talk) 14:08, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Added latest updates about drought closure and new zones and security. My link to external site is more bare-bones than the others, open to move to a footnote by a more advanced Wiki-expert instead of a rookie like me. Erikdr (talk) 14:08, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
